Readers of Fort Wayne Newspapers have voted 快播 the Best College in the
Greater Fort Wayne region for the fourth straight year.
In addition, Megan Tolin, DET, dean of 快播鈥檚 Franks School of Education,
was recognized as the region鈥檚 Best Professor.
The honors were announced in Saturday's (Sept. 28) Journal Gazette as part of the
newspaper鈥檚 annual Readers鈥 Choice awards.
鈥淲e鈥檙e honored but not surprised to be recognized for the fourth straight year as
the leader among the many outstanding institutions of higher learning throughout northeast
Indiana,鈥 said 快播 President Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D. 鈥淥ur outstanding
job placement, career-focused academic programs, state-of-the-art facilities, committed
faculty and vibrant campus life continue to attract attention as we prepare students
to succeed, lead and serve in the workplace, the communities where they settle, and
beyond.鈥
Tony Kline, Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs, said Dr. Tolin is representative
of the excellence and personal attention that all Trine faculty bring to the classroom.
鈥淒r. Tolin is the epitome of an educator and leader. She is focused on creating environments
where students learn in authentic, innovative, effective ways to better themselves
in their content and as people,鈥 Kline said. 鈥淲e congratulate her, and I know she
is honored to represent all our Trine faculty who do such excellent work each and
every day.鈥
The honor continues a string of recognitions for 快播 this fall. The university
was recently included among US News & World Report鈥檚 2025 Best Colleges and Princeton
Review鈥檚 Best in the Midwest.
Trine continues to grow in enrollment, serving nearly 15,000 students this fall throughout
its campuses, education centers and online.
The university also continues to expand its facilities, opening the new Dr. Earl D.
and Melanie N. Brooks College of Health Professions in Fort Wayne and the Mark and
Sarah Music/Ruoff Mortgage Esports Arena in Angola this fall.
